Marge Richards


Marge Richards is Principal of The Awareness Group, a consulting firm specializing in how the workplace environment can enhance productivity, job satisfaction and a positive attitude. She is a Green Design advocate, a Feng Shui educator and an Authentic Happiness Coach. She was also the former Executive Vice President of Meyer Associates, Inc., a 50 person design and architecture firm in PA, a former board member of The International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG) and co-author of the certification program known as the 5 Day Feng Shui Interior Redesign Course. She has done post graduate work in the field of Authentic Happiness Coaching with Dr. Martin Seligman, professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Meyer Associates took the early lead in the Philadelphia area on Sustainable Design and they are founding members of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council. Ms. Richards was a key participant in the Green Design committee at Meyer. She later brought the Green Design information to the Interior Redesign Program of Graceful Lifestyles which has trained over 100 consultants throughout the United States and Canada.

Marge is the author of several published articles on Feng Shui and has been the subject of numerous interviews for both television and magazines. On one of her appearances on CN8’s Your Morning show, they filmed Marge doing a home consultation.

Her forte is communicating the importance and value in being aware of the effects that a space has on the individual as well as businesses. She has many years of experience in the corporate setting, and she has presented her workshops to groups such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the Institute of Real Estate Managers (IREM) and Ernst and Young’s Women’s Professional Group.

Maureen Liedtke is Principal of The Awareness Group, a consulting firm specializing in how the workplace environment can enhance productivity, job satisfaction and a positive attitude.

She has a unique background in that she has worked in a high pressure full commission sales job for a fortune 500 company, and has also taught third and fourth grade in an elementary school. She has an undergraduate degree in business, and a master's degree in education. Her passion has been her desire to combine these two different backgrounds in an effort to give back to society. She intends on helping to make the world a better place through her commitment to educating and empowering employees. She is a Green Design advocate and subscribes to a multitude of Green Resources websites and publications.

Maureen is a dedicated contributor to many causes including: fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s annual ball, member of the Pennsylvania Ballet’s fundraising committee, supporter of The Wellness Foundation in Philadelphia, participant in Serve and Ace Against Cancer to name a few. She has experience as the director and facilitator for a women’s group focusing on fostering independence and empowerment. She also served on the National Diversity Leadership Council. In that capacity, Maureen showed her ability to bring diverse groups of people together to accomplish a common goal.
